Autoclave curing of the stack after demolding. The cycle has three stages: pressure rise, holding, release. The key stage is holding. During the treatment silica reacts with calcium hydroxide and water to form tobermorite; the hydration products bind the unreacted quartz flour and the reinforcing fiber, and the sheet gains its strength this way. The stacks are loaded by winch on autoclave trolleys with stainless steel pallets.
