A press that compacts the stack of sheets after forming. Versions apply the force from above or from below; the upper arrangement is the more common one. Design: six pressing and two lifting cylinders, with a filling valve controlling rapid release and oil make-up in the main cylinders. The hydraulic unit and the electrical system run the pressing and lifting cycle, and a pressure sensor shows the load and the balance between cylinders. The PLC allows several modes, stages, holding times and strokes to be set. O-type frame; the press stroke is designed to suit the stack height.
