TAMINOTA STEEL: steel supplied the same way as equipment
TAMINOTA is an engineering supply bureau in Tashkent: we find the producing mill in China, agree the terms, inspect the batch before shipment and deliver to the plant’s warehouse. The STEEL division applies the same procedure to steel products.
01 · The mill, not the market
Where the steel comes from
Steel from the market arrives without a history: the heat number cannot be verified, the standard on the tag is the seller’s word, and part of the batch may have spent years outdoors. The bureau buys from the mill that rolls the steel, and the provenance is visible in the contract and the mill certificate.
The mill is chosen per item: one works rolls rebar, another rolls stainless plate, a third casts ductile iron pipe. The one condition is a producing mill, not a trader or a marketplace.
02 · Inspection
What we check at the mill before shipment
- Plate thickness and pipe wall — with a micrometer, at several points of every bundle
- Rebar and bar diameter — with calipers, ovality within the standard tolerance
- Mill test certificate: the heat number on the tag matches the certificate
- Marking on the steel and tags: grade, standard, mill, heat number
- Packing: strapping, edge protection, bundles at the specified weight
- Batch weighed on the mill scales, every bundle photographed
03 · Route
How we ship
The batch travels by rail through Kazakhstan in wagons or containers, or by road train, depending on tonnage, dimensions and site. Large tonnage is assembled by wagon load, small tonnage by container or as part of a consolidated shipment.
Paperwork, certification in Uzbekistan and the customs declaration are handled by the bureau. The batch is visible at every node: shipment, border, arrival, warehouse.
04 · What we do not do
Four rules of the division
- We do not ship without a mill inspection
- We do not work through intermediaries or marketplaces
- We do not substitute a grade with an “equivalent” without recording it in the contract
- We do not name a lead time we cannot back with a document
