A layered composite needle-punched felt for calcium silicate board equipment — for both the flow-on and the take-off forming methods. The base is woven on heavy TEXO looms from Sweden: the structure is stable, resistant to stretching, the elasticity holds, dewatering is strong and the felt washes easily. The surface is even and dense, elongation is low, and the felt resists acid and alkali.
